Christine J. Shipley, Former Executive Director of the New Jersey Senate Republican Office, Joins Stevens & Lee Public Affairs

PRINCETON, NJ, February 6, 2024 Stevens & Lee Public Affairs announced today that long-time government leader Christine J. Shipley has joined the growing New Jersey public affairs firm as a Managing Director.

Christine Shipley has more than 25 years of strategic advisory experience in New Jersey state government. With a reputation among policy makers as a trusted, bipartisan advocate for pragmatic solutions, she is well-positioned to assist businesses and trade organizations with their legislative and regulatory priorities, and to guide them through the complexities of state government. Christine will advise clients across industries on key executive proposals and legislative developments that may impact their businesses and markets.

Ms. Shipley has a significant understanding of the issues facing New Jersey and a history of working with legislative and executive policymakers to develop realistic solutions to those issues. She applies her depth of knowledge in areas that include health care, tax, economic development, energy, transportation, the environment, labor, education, ethics, open public records, elections, professional licensure and budget appropriations.

With the addition of Ms. Shipley, Stevens & Lee Public Affairs has grown to include nine professionals since its launch in early 2022, including other long-time government leaders Gladys Brown Dutrieuille, former PAPUC Chairman and immediate past-president of MACRUC, Bob Gordon, former NJ Senator and BPU Commissioner, and Skip Cimino, former Executive Director to the NJ General Assembly Majority Office.
