Ed has a multi-decade career in public service and private sector advisory expertise and has extensive experience helping technology clients to advance procurement and strategic goals through the frameworks of New Jersey’s legislative and executive branches.
Ed assists local, regional and national clients, including Fortune 100 technology companies, with developing and implementing business plans that align with the policy and budgetary priorities of New Jersey government members, departments and offices. Drawing from his nuanced background in and understanding of New Jersey’s IT sector, his insights help clients to achieve their goals of working in and with the State of New Jersey. He has a reputation as a bipartisan advocate for pragmatic solutions among members of the New Jersey Governor’s office, departmental executives, State Senate, State Assembly and municipal leadership.
During his tenure of more than 30 years in public service, Ed played pivotal roles in the planning and implementation of advanced technology that streamlined operations and enhanced service in a number of departments and agencies within state government. He served on the New Jersey Information Resources Management Commission, the Office of Information Technology Governing Board, the New Jersey Information Technology Leadership Team and the National Information Technology Committee of the U.S. Department of Labor. Ed was also on the Executive Board of the New Jersey League of Municipalities and held governor-appointed positions of Assistant State Treasurer in the Office of the State Treasurer and Assistant Commissioner in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Prior to these appointments, he was Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bordentown Township and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
