Renewable Energy in the MACRUC Region

Erick A. Ford joined energy industry thought leaders and specialists on the panel “Renewable Energy in the MACRUC Region” presented at the 28th Annual Education Conference of the Mid-Atlantic Conference of Regulatory Utilities Commissioners (MACRUC) on June 26 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Erick joined panelists Sheila Manz, Technical Director of Decarbonization Planning at GE Energy Consulting; Travis Miles, Ph.D., Assistant Professor at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers University; Kris Ohleth, Director, Special Initiative on Offshore Wind; and moderator Dr. Zenon Christodoulou of NJ Board of Public Utilities. Discussion focused on the science, reliability, finance, and public opinion surrounding the offshore wind energy sector, within which New Jersey is a national leader.
