Catherin A. MacDuff Appointed to Lawrence Township Council

Catherin A. “Catie” MacDuff has been appointed to the Lawrence Township Council on January 17, 2023. Selected by the Township Council following interviews from a group of nominees, Catie fills a vacancy from the resignation of Councilwoman Cathleen Lewis, who was elected to the Mercer County Board of County Commissioners in last year’s general elections. Catie will serve the remainder of Councilwoman Lewis’ four-year term, which ends on December 31, 2023.

Catie has deep roots in Lawrence Township, having attended Lawrence High School and Rider University. She went on to earn a J.D. from the Rutgers University School of Law and served as a law clerk to the Hon. Catherine Fitzpatrick, J.S.C. (Ret.) of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Her past experience also extends to serving as Legislative Aide to Assemblyman Anthony S. Verrelli of New Jersey General Assembly.

Catie is currently a member of the Administrative Law and Government Contracts Practice of law firm Stevens & Lee, and she is based in the firm’s Princeton office.
